Abstract:

FAN is an attempt to move beyond stiflingly traditional interpretations of Canadian national security and military history and to engage a broad audience. The Cold War chapter is based on the latest primary source research and depicts the larger themes of Canada’s involvement in the Cold War, specifically the nature of that conflict and where Canada’s armed forces fit into it.
