| Link to Archive | “Insights into Canadian Peacekeeping Doctrine” Military Review March-April 1996
Abstract: This article was written during a time of great change in the mid-1990’s as the deficiencies of Cold War-era peacekeeping doctrine were recognized by the elements within the Canadian Army and attempts were made to correct them. At this time, the US Army was increasingly involved in similar operations and “Insights” was designed as a primer for American military personnel who were operating alongside Canadians and formulating their own peacekeeping/peace support doctrine. |
